Surrounding Philip and Jane Ingham’s Regency villa near York, this garden has a ha-ha and a wall covered in climbers and fruit trees. The mixed borders were redesigned in the 1990s. No dogs on the lawn please. Visitors can walk through the field and down a wood in dry weather back to the lane.
